DECEMBER 19-22, 2025
In this workshop, conductors will have the chance to learn from Mr. Donald Schleicher. This workshop will feature various masterclass and discussion components, in addition to many conducting opportunities and podium time.
The workshop will be based at the Hyatt Regency Chicago and all sessions will take place at this location. Participants can apply for rooming, if needed. Sessions will include repertoire previews, conducting, as well as guided discussions and feedback forums.
Conductors will have at least 45 minutes of podium time over the course of the 4 days with a sextet (string quintet plus piano). Don't miss out on this tremendous opportunity to work on great repertoire with an impactful teacher!

ACCOMMODATIONS
Hotel rooms will be arranged through CMWS for a group rate of approximately $119/night (not including taxes; 2025 rate still being finalized) for as many nights as necessary and may be shared, pending participant rooming needs. Payments for hotel rooms will be made directly through the hotel portal approximately 4-6 weeks before the workshop. More information will be provided after workshop acceptance.

We accept applicants on a first come fist serve basis. Our early registration period ends Friday, November 7, 2025. Payment must be received by then in order to receive the early rate. We have limited spaces available and have been at capacity for the past several years, so in the event that we do reach maximum capacity, you will be placed on a waiting list.
